Anchorage Junior National Recap
What a fun filled, awesome view packed, great team effort trip! We did not bring the biggest team up to Junior Nationals this year but we did bring home a lot of hardware and good Results!
We would like to thank the Alaska division for putting on one of the better JN weeks that I have been to with great weather making everything run about as smooth as it can. The K65 was dialed in and we got to see some long rides and the XC facility was killer with a great spectator friendly coarse and super wax and changing facilities.
To check out the full results of each day and to see how team EAST did check out this web page below.

Special shout out to Landon Livreri who at age 13 got a top 15 in special jumping, Gabby Armstrong at her first JN being on the podium multiple times and also setting a personal record of 63m, and Miles and Karl skiing like animals in the two man team NC event and placing a solid 2nd!
Check out NYSEF Nordic on facebook for pics and other neat things going on in the Nordic world.

The great white north
After 20 hours of travel on Thursday we made it to Anchorage Alaska and have had two great days of training. Kids like the hill and we will test out the XC coarse this afternoon that everyone has told us is beautiful. Here is a team pic that was taken on a little drive up into the mountains to over look the city.
Tomorrow is official training and opening ceremonies and Sunday the fight for podium spots begin!
